Our staff is made up of only highly trained, experienced clinicians. All clinicians are licensed professionals and all maintain more than the required number of continuing education requirements.
 Rebecca D. Laskin M.C.D., C.C.C.
Rebecca D. Laskin, M.C.D., C.C.C., is the founder of Laskin Therapy Group. Rebecca received her B.S. in 1971 from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Communication Disorders in 1976 from the University of Mississippi. She is a 2001 and 2002 recipient of the Award for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Rebecca is Secretary of The Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a former President of the Central Mississippi Speech and Hearing Association along with having served on the board of the Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Prior to beginning our practice in 1980, Rebecca held positions as Director and Speech/Language Pathologist at the Easter Seal Speech and Language Clinic, Director and Speech/Language Pathologist for the United Givers Fund of Yazoo City, and served as a Speech/Language Pathologist in the Jackson, Vicksburg and Park Ridge, IL Public Schools. With experience providing services to children of all ages and most disorders, Rebecca has particular interest in the areas of auditory processing, dyspraxia, and cranio-facial abnormalities.
Rebecca is currently a member of the Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology and the Mississippi and American Speech-Language-Hearing Associations . When not working she likes to spend time with her family and friends, play tennis and travel.
 Amy Woodward M.C.D., C.C.C. Amy Woodward, M.C.D., C.C.C., joined our practice in 1998. Amy received her B.S. from Delta State University in 1996 and her M.C.D. from Auburn University in 1998. In our practice, Amy has gained experience working with children with a variety of speech/language disorders. She most recently attended a Stuttering Conference organized by the Stuttering Foundation of America in Dallas, Texas, and is a 2001 recipient of the Award for Continuing Education. Amy is a member of the Mississippi and American Speech-Language-Hearing Associations. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter, Halle, a one-year-old Golden Retriever.
 Deborah Monsour M.A., C.C.C.
Deborah Monsour, M.A., C.C.C., a native of Vicksburg, became associated with Laskin Therapy Group in February 2002 after working 18 months in Greensboro, N.C. She received her B.A. in 1997 and her M.A. in 2000 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Deborah has experience working with a wide variety of disorders including Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome. Her professional memberships include TEAAM (Together Enhancing Autism Awareness in Mississippi), LIFE (Living Independence For Everyone), Central Mississippi Autism Support Group, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association. When not working, Deborah loves to travel, seeing new places and experiencing different cultures.
 Marlene Eernisse M.S., C.C.C.
Associating with our practice in January 2002, was Marlene Eernisse, M.S., C.C.C. Marlene received her B.A. from Indiana University ? Bloomington in 1998 and M.S. from Jackson State University in 2000. She works concurrently at the Mississippi School for the Deaf and is fluent in sign language. Marlene is a member of the Mississippi and American Speech-Language-Hearing Associations. She has worked with children ages two to eighteen focusing on speech, language and literacy development. In her spare time Marlene loves antique shopping and watching college basketball.
 Anna Kathryn Huth M.S., C.C.C.
In June, Anna Kathryn Huth, M.S., CCC-Speech/Language Pathologist joined Laskin Therapy Group after working three years in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She received her B.A. from Millsaps College and her M.S. from the University of Mississippi. Anna Kathryn has worked with children ages three through fifth grade in a public school setting focusing on speech and language development. She recently attended training for the Barbara Wilson Reading Program, and she hopes to begin using this program to aid children in overcoming reading difficulties. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, and playing tennis.
 Maggie Serpente Waddell M.S., C.C.C.
Maggie Serpente Waddell received her B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1997 and her M.S. from the University of Mississippi in 1999. After completing her Clinical Fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, Maggie worked for the Biloxi Public Schools for three years. There she worked with children in preschool through sixth grade. She has intense experience with school age articulation and language disorders along with the developmentally delayed population. Maggie is a member of the Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association where she has served as the multi-cultural co-chair and is also a member of the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching Ole Miss Sporting events and traveling.
Janice Estes M.S., C.C.C.
Janice Estes, M.S., C.C.C., joined our practice in June 2003 after working for the past 10 years in Florida and Texas. Janice received her B.A. in 1993 and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology in 1996 from the University of South Florida. Janice comes to us with a wide range of experience from children as young as two all the way to geriatric adults in a wide variety of settings. She has worked in private practice, the public school system, hospitals, long-term care, and rehabilitation centers. Janice has worked with various developmental and neurological disorders, as well as swallowing disorders. Janice also has vast experience with the cognitively impaired, children with autism, apraxia and language/literacy delays. Janice is a member of the Mississippi and American Speech-Language-Hearing Associations. Outside of work, you can find Janice spending time with her favorite three boys: husband - Rick, and sons - Benjamin and Sam.
 Adria McLain OTR/L
Adria McLain, OTR/L joined Laskin Therapy group in August 2003. Before associating with our group, Adria balanced working part-time with being a mom of 3 children. She graduated in 1990 from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Following graduation, Adria began working at the University of Mississppi Medical Center . Since that time, she has provided OT services in the public schools, nursing homes and outpatient pediatric clinics. Autism, developmental delay and neurological disorders are some of the populations with which Adria has experience treating. She is a Certified Provider of Interactive Metronome, Trainer in Therapeutic Listening and has extensive training in Sensory Integration Dysfunction. In her spare time, Adria enjoys reading, camping and watching her children play sports.
Beth Woodcock RPT
Beth Woodcock, RPT, came to the group in January 2004. She graduated from The University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1994 and has practiced primarily in pediatrics since that time. She has worked with children in a variety of settings, including pediatric rehabilitation, public schools, daycares, and homes. She has experience working with children with a variety of conditions, including cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions, Down syndrome and other genetic conditions, along with autism. She has spent eight years working with the Early Intervention System of Mississippi providing assessments and services for children birth to three years, as well as providing training to service providers across Mississippi wishing to work in the Early Intervention System. Beth is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Mississippi Physical Therapy Association. Beth is the mother of two baby girls. She has very little spare time, but when she does, she enjoys playing guitar and piano, gardening, and being with her family and friends.
